Been ages since I've been here...
Currently working at my friend's tattoo shop, 7 days a week. Doing tattoo design work every day for customers, so got piles of stuff to submit. What fun!

Day 28 - 'WHACKED'
Drawing is a window to the soul.
If you're lucky enough to be able to illustrate the mists of imagination that swirl in your mind then you have a gift of tremendous proportions.
Everyone..........everyone, has a story to tell. One great story, worth hearing, real or imagined. I call mine - "Whacked."
I've compiled over a dozen years worth of art building up to my polarized singular story that only my personality can deliver. Keep watching my page for plenty more art to come and thanks, we're going to have fun.
Day 15 - Troubles with Jason Statham
So I was at the pub the other night an this guy wif an attitude gives me some aggro, an I tell the bloke, "You wanna' watch yourself mate, I'll 'ave your head off!"
Turns out it was none other than Jason Statham!
Ah, well not really. I'm sure old Jason is probably a good sort and he'd likely kick my butt - though it'd give me a great story," Jason Statham kicked my butt!"

My primary goal has been to make a giant leap from my old amateur art to join the ranks of professional calibre artists.
I'm discovering that I need to improve in every conceivable way, but key to this is "seeing" the mistakes in my own work. Continually looking for the flaws in my drawings and fixing them, by referencing both photographs and pro art.
Yesterday I must have spent an hour reconstructing a pretty girl's face from a photo for a sketch - deciding which lines to keep and which to erase, multiple adjustments to make it as perfect as possible. I learned a lot, I can al
Day 11 - Art, the ultimate stress relief
I started drawing again for what must be the most uncommon reasons - because I was stressed and depressed.
Most people approach art from a position of enthusiasm, because it makes them happy in some personal way. I used to draw for those reasons, was even on my way to Sheridan Animation college here in Canada, was accepted for the entrance exam, then it all fell apart. "Family matters" let call it, not drugs or alcohol - I've always been immune to these demons, luckily. No, my turmoil came from a virtually unhinged father, who managed to manipulate me into always going along with his business interests at the expense of my own life plans and
